hi to all, ive been out of work since june when i was working with Aegis. I wish i never left my job cos its turning out to be a nightmare to get back out to iraq. i now have a baby on the way which i found out last week, so i need to get back asap and start earning again. Anyone that can help me will be greatly appreciated. looking forward to hearing from you soon. Phil

Aegis are usually more than happy to re-employ ex contractors who left on good terms with a good reputation, have you thought about approaching them again?

Firstly welcome to cpw.

There a lot of us looking for a good job which occasionally pop's up in this forum so keep checking some of old threads for jobs and keep networking with other members...

Btw, on Nov 8th, if you are free come along to CPW oficial forum function in London which is free entry and just have topay £10 for food etc... A lot of experienced cpo's and training providers going to be there... so good place to meet like minded!! if you are free join us my friend...

thanx for the advice, i cant beleive how much im struggling to get a job at the moment, was promised a place with olive but nothing came of it. gutted. there must be something out there. i think ive emailed every company possible.

Philip, I 'am not one to give the old moral story mate and I know that it wont pay the bill's. But if you have a little one on it's way buddy may be it's time to stay away from the pit. I can understand the worry not finding a job is agreat pressure on your shoulders mate but there are more important things in life and that you will see in around 9 months. There are other jobs out there in the security world does it have to be just CP?

Brother,i wouldnt just look at Iraq,their is a lot of other countrys that employ pmcs etc for armed CP etc,i wont give too much away,good luck stay safe Ram out.
