SOC is seeking MEDICS (Iraq) ~ Needed ASAP!!!

Overview:
This position provides routine and emergency medical care
Responsibilities:
• Provide medical care for any non-emergency situations.
• Administer first-aid treatment and life-support care to sick or injured persons/employees in pre-hospital setting.
• Operate equipment such as electrocardiograms (EKGs), external defibrillators and bag-valve mask resuscitators in advanced life-support environments.
• Assess nature and extent of illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures.
• Maintain vehicles and medical and communication equipment, and replenish first-aid equipment and supplies.
• Observe, record, and report to physician the patient's condition or injury, the treatment provided, and reactions to drugs and treatment.
• Perform emergency diagnostic and treatment procedures, such as stomach suction, airway management or heart monitoring, during ambulance ride.
• Administer drugs, orally or by injection, and perform intravenous procedures under a physician's direction.
• Comfort and reassure patients.
• Coordinate work with, revision, and update of past performance and employee resumes.
▪ Proofreads and edits proposal text and graphics.
▪ Provides basic graphic development support.
▪ Assists with critiquing proposal text and graphics for compliance and responsiveness to RFP requirements, themes and discriminators, clarity, completeness, and presentation style
▪ Contributes to lessons learned exercises and assists with integrating suggested improvements into Business Development process
▪ Implements corporate standards in the preparation of Business Development material
▪ Demonstrates and facilitates use of SOC physical and electronic Proposal Library (Boilerplate)
▪ Maintains a working knowledge of all aspects of the organization as it relates to a specific service line (i.e., corporate capabilities, history, client relationships, etc.)
▪ Supports Business Development and proposal development process improvements
to a specific service line (i.e., corporate capabilities, history, client relationships, etc.)

Qualifications:
▪ Bachelors Degree (emphasis on Marketing or English preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
▪ Excellent written and oral communication, presentation skills, interpersonal, and leadership skills
▪ Strong inner drive and winning attitude
▪ Ability to work independently and as part of a team equally well
▪ Intermediate/advanced experience with Microsoft Word as desktop publishing tool and experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook. Experience with Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Internet research is highly desirable
▪ Must be analytical with attention to detail
▪ Customer focused, quality driven, with ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-pace environment

For those wondering a DD-214 is the US Military discharge papers/quals so i assume this is for US Citizens only. Again, that's just an assumption as SOC have hired non-US in the past.

Having read the text methinks there maybe a cock up with the works- What on earth has "proofreading proposals; contributing to Business Development or a degree in marketing or English" got to do with being a medic?

I second that hog, I was thinking "what the heck?" whilst looking at the quals required. No medic quals required for a medic position? Must have been some mix up with the job specs.

I work for SOC at the moment ,and yes they do hire non US for some of their projects, but i dont have the specifics for the medic contract.
