CONSTRUCTION & TRADE is a Turkish construction firm with operations worldwide and in all regions of Afghanistan. Current opportunities exist for qualified individuals interested in working on US Government, Army Corps of Engineers, NATO/ISAF, embassy projects throughout Afghanistan.

Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Field based position with overall responsibility for security on entire project site in Afghanistan.

2. Lead coordination efforts with company representatives, subcontractors, clients, local communities and other stakeholders in order to effectively plan and maintain a secure environment for workers on site as well as on transit routes to/from site.

3. Liaise with local military entities, local and foreign, to establish relationships and explain company mission and support needed.

4. Plan security measures to protect site including armed personnel, weaponry requirements, number and locations of guard booths/towers, staff rotations, and convoy and transport security.

5. Continually monitor and assess security situation both on site as well as in-country in general to make recommendations to senior management on steps to take to minimize risks and threats.

6. Other security related duties as assigned. Qualifications required: 1. 15 years experience in security related fields.

2. Military experience.

3. Bachelor's degree preferred but experience more highly valued.

4. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.

5. Fluent English: speaking, reading, and writing.

6. Native Dari and/or Pashto preferred.
