Please find an outline for a vacancy for a Job starting in Jan 09. It is essential that you match the criteria before applying. I have convinced my client to use forums to look for potential employees. This is on a trial basis and I do get a fair bit of work from him and I would like to use this method of advertising again in the future.

The role is, In laments terms, a genuine BG role, is suited and booted, tooled up, working with a trained local national team as an only expat on the team. It has a low risk but a high threat. It is not for someone starting out in the industry (no offence intended) and the person has to have a high caliber of standards as the POC is very demanding.

If the job is not for you please dont slate it regarding the pay, expectations etc as the POC will be monitoring this site. It has taken me a while to get him to use this facility and if it goes well then he may use it again.

I am not the POC but will have input on the short listing. My advice is, before you send your cv to him please read all the criteria and match it with relevant experience. Again if you dont match it then please dont apply however can you pass it on to someone who has. Inc the photo. CP Team Leader required for CP tasking North Iraq (Kurdistan)



Rotation 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off.

Rate $400 per day (only in country).

Job Role CPO Team Leader required, for BG/CP team role based in Kurdistan, Iraq. You would be working with a local national CP security team for a demanding principal, covering the northern regions of Iraq within a high profile personal protection role.

Essential Min of 3 years CP/BG role inc hostile regions. Ex Military or Police only. Experience of working with local national personal. Combat Medical training. Highly motivated self starter with a positive’ will do’ attitude. Excellent level of fitness.

Preff Required Excellent Team leader skills. Basic Arabic language. Good knowledge of vehicle maintenance. Training qualification. Experience in Psd and Convoy roles in hostile areas. Local knowledge of northern Iraq. Conflict management, Communications and Counter Surveillance history. Excellent people skills. Must have ability to continue ongoing training of a local national CP team.

Sorry to be a pain however the POC has just informed me that he has recieved 24 cv,s for postion so far and 21 of them dont meet the basic criteria required. Again if you dont meet it please dont apply as he will withdraw any slots for the future and it has taken me a while to get him to do this.
