guys,
you make around 40K with all the allowances, not forgetting u get a free house, vehicle etc loads of holiday and flights paid for. You have nothing to pay for except your food and they pay the boarding school for ur kids.
I have three mates doing this job in various countries and they say its great. This job is not aimed at people under 35 years and most of the OSM's are 22 year ex mil SNCO's or WO's.
So when u can find a job that does all that for u its a good one.

They set the criteria pretty low but I wonder what level applicants actually have to be at to be considered?

These jobs are like rockin horse shit and once your in and posted abroad its a fantastic job.
