Hello Gents,

We currently utilise a rather old PIR portable intruder alarm system.

This system we are currently using is coming to the end of its life span and with money in the bank its time to re-invest!

Can anybody point me in the right direction of companies selling top of the range portable intruder alarm systems either PIR or Laser which will be suitable for Rst work(but with portability)

I dont want to start a discussion on the kit that you may recommend as its probably still being used in Ops so any threads describing the pros and cons will deleted(as you can appreciate)

Any web sites anybody can suggest?

Cheers

CM

we use an autoguard system and it has been fine for a few years.
Until we had it serviced which took forever and when it came back some of the batteries did not work.So back it went .Still took forever and came back sub standard.
Until they got their hands on it ,it was a god send.
5K is abit steep.I think you can get them for alot less these days.

There is a quite a basic system I use bought it in germany, the PIR plug into a normal power sockets, then you have a wireless controller plugged into the phone line it runs upto 24 PIR's and it will notify up to 4 telephone numbers if anything is amiss
the weblink is below, sorry its in german but you can see the prices

Agfeo Bewegungsmelder Security-Line bei telefon.de kaufen. Versandkostenfrei ab 40 Euro!
