Just wondering...
Does anyone from the forum uses the H&K UMP 9mm?
What is Your's opinion about it? My friend from Polish Police SWAT ( Samodzielny Poddodzial Antyterrorystyczny Policji - SPAP ) tells mi that they still prefer good old MP5 with mounted tactical light on it. He said that the main drawback of UMP is when you mount a tactical light on Picatinny rail the UMP becomes quite unwieldy when operating.
But when it comes to CP work it seems that UMP is smaller and lighter than MP5, especially when carrying inside vehicles...
I have no experience with UMP ( nor the 9mm or other cal. versions ), just hold it during weapon exhibit...And Yes! It's very light

Stay safe!

hey. i've tried it out for a week to see if I'd like it, as a light weapon yes is ok, as for performance, its a completely different feel to it compaired to an mp5, it also feels chunky when double tapping a target.
As for mounts, it depends what kind of light or sights your using. I was using an ultra light led on the bottom rail. didnt notice a difference.
I personally feel the mp5 performs better and suits an CP role fo close targets.
I also think it depends on the person, but no one on my team stuck with the UMP.
