Hi people,

As many of you know... its not just what training you have received but also WHO trained you.

So I wish to enlist your help in finding a good Tactical / Advanced /Defensive driving course within the UK if possible but not ruling out international, preferably geared for conflict zones as well as lower risk CP activities.

Also, A good firearms course that would be suitable for a civilian background individual who is likely to be posted to a high conflict zone, so including small arms and assault rifle.

Thanks for any help and advice guys and gals.

Andy

co19 will become famous soon enough
Anson Tactical run good firearms courses and have students with no firearms experience, they do the training in Switzerland.

If you haven't done a CP course yet see what course offers you the best option with regards to driving and weapons, but be warned if you are not ex-mil you are on an uphill struggle to get the jobs. Consider UK/Europe as a focus of your efforts, sometimes it pays aswell and even better on certain jobs,

I dont have a wealth of experience but i can agree with co19 about the Anson Firearms course. Was over in Switzerland a few weeks ago and found the course to be Excellent.
"Dave" the Instructor was top class and obviously a top operator.Hopefully i will be returning to do the Intermediate firearms course.

Have been looking at AG (Armour Group) Tactical driving and CP Driving training courses... sounds impressive however would like feedback from anyone who has actually attended one of there courses. they also provide a firearms course, im unsure as to if a multiple booking discount would be available for both driving and firearms but if anyone has attened the fire arms course could you let me know what is was like too.

Thanks again

Andy

have you thought of Longmoor group, they teach tacticle drivimg to all embassy drivers,
also, it is exactly on the same guide lines that the Royal Military Police CP teams teach soldiers on the PMS, Protective Mobile Skills, Advance

Hi Andy,

You may know that ASAA Europe/Anson supply firearms training to Phoenix Cp, amongst other companies. If you would like to contact me then I can arrange a course tailored to your needs. Hope this helps.

Dear All, I am new to the forum and work for a company called 'Omega Security group Ltd". The group are launching a course starting this year which is not for the light hearted. The P.S.D Course is not an sia course and not intended for work within the UK. The courses will take place at specialist range facilities in Kurdistan under testing and hostile conditions. Teachings will be skills, drills and weapon knowledge required by the modern P.S.D operator. It has been designed and is run by British Ex Special Forces Instructors . i am told it will be the best course to do for working in hostile environments and is the first of its kind open to civvies (everybody will have to agree to be vetted b4 being accepted on the course) I have been on several European firearms courses myself and as much as I enjoyed them, the reality is, if you want to work and earn in other parts of the world, they do not prepare you sufficiently. Watch this space or email me at lisa@omegasecurityltd.co.uk if you are interested whem the prices and sated have been finalised!! Good luck then........L
