Guys, what i am writing is not intended to offend anyone, you're all correct in what you've posted, however i think you're dissecting it too much, be fit, be healthy and be ready. Looking into exact situations etc. (regarding fitness)is not good as one does not know exactly how or when you'll need it.

Guidelines are required and realistic applications good, bot over analyzing (not that you are) is not the be all and end all solution.

Try this: see what your fastest time is for s 2000m sprint, thereafter maximum pullups (no cheating), then maximum full situps in a minute and then best time for a 400 metre run.

This represents the basic fitness level required.

2000 meters sprint! Is that the norm in Israel so you can get away from the effects of a suicide bomber? LOL. Of course, I know you meant 200 m sprint. You are right of course, you only need to be as fit as is needed.

Funny LOL

Actually, i meant 2000m as in 2km. Just as an indication,
my own best measured time many moons ago was around the 7 minute mark which is average.

So you've made me think, it should be termed a fast run. not a sprint.
