SIA course costs?

We chareg our students in London £1100 including First aid however we are fortunate to get funding so £1400 per head is paid for by the funding provider otherwise it wouldnt be worth doing and preclusive to alot of students. Its a very difficult business decision to cut prices to match the market and Im sure it hurts fiscally. Im grateful to not have to be in that position - yet!

Regal Security Training alongside Morrigan Solutions International currently have an ongoing sia 18 day Close Protection course for £1200 including accomodation, flights, transfers, meals and FPOS running in Novi-sad Serbia. However we did state this price would be a one off. Due to the overwhelming responses we are toying with the idea of completing another one in due course...watch this space Ladies and Gentlemen!!

I am beginning to get seriously upset with some of the people on this site!

First Praetorian uses this public forum to make snide comments about me, and then Scab comes up to claim that the price we are charging for First Aid is outrageous!

We have made an offer publicly available to all CPW members to get the full sia CPO course at £1,295.00 + VAT, and at £1,195.00 per person if they bring a mate. If people do not want to pay our rates, then fair play to them, they don't have to, but that is the advantage of a forum like this - you pays your money and you takes your choice.

I am glad for Praetorian that he is getting £1,400 funding, but he is obviously not passing that on to his potential candidates.

I have been in this business a long time, I like to think that I go out of my way to help people if I am able to, but it seems to me that a lot of people should concentrate on looking after their own matters rather than spending time swiping at others.

I will be at the event in November, so if anyone thinks I am out of order, they are welcome to make their comments to my face.

Perhaps I need to take some of my own advice (and cut out the coffee for the next couple of hours), and not get too worked up about this.

We are all big boys in this game (and some big girls too, no disrespect intended to lildev, littlewoman and others!), and if you want to roll on the mats then you've got to be prepared to take some knocks.

I genuinely do not believe that anyone here has bad intentions, and I am quite happy to accept that if you have any profile at all in this industry you are going to have the odd pop coming in.

I'll see you at the bar on the 8th....

David, with every respect the offer you made to the forum is not what I am commenting on and indeed find the offer for the CP course very generous.

Your First Aid course cost however is higher than all but only one other I have heard of and almost twice as much as many others seen advertised on this forum.
