Hello all

As a follow up to my thread on CP courses, what is the average cost, duration and locations of firearms courses?

I have seen courses advertised for 3 - 5 days.

The majority of the courses advertised are either in eastern europe or the states; as for price, that really depends on the type of firearms used, rounds available, duration and location; as with all things many variables.

Plenty of companies worth looking at; Psd Training Ltd, Longmoor, PPA International to name just a few.

We run advance tactical pistol courses in Sweden.
All with tactical gear such as Nomex Coveralls, Nij IIIA helmets/Tac vests..etc..
All stay in the Manor our 3 day course is advance level, and costs 600£ ( 10 % discount is available for Cpworld forum members) all is included, food and accomodation and ca: 1000 rounds per person.
Only thing is the flight or boat trip to Sweden.
( CPR/AED certifications is included) in this course

As mentioned before- it all depends on what you are looking for in a program. We conduct several open-enrollment programs here and private programs for host organizations/agencies around the world.

Many in recent years have asked for 3 day vs. 5 day because of ammunition cost. Our main program AF-2 and AF-3 dovetail into each other and where set up to expand to 5 days if needed. Yet we have found after 2-days on the range students like going into AF-3 which is all Simunitions based and geared to force-on-force confrontations. Here they get in more trigger time and have to function the weapon system under the stress of a gun-fight.

There are winners and loosers in a gun fight... shooting paper will NOT tell you what you need to know.
