I'm looking at doing a course but does anyone know of a good Fire Arms course??

One that is not a rip off has many of them are or they never happen.

Hi Mate, agree with the others about Edelweiss. Another point of contact i definitely recommend is Morrigan Solutions. The instruction is top rate, the facilities are excellent and their prices are amongst the best available. Add to that Novi Sad is a fantastic place and very very cheap. Worth contacting them as they do bespoke courses also. Best of luck

I would like to echo the comments from Edelweiss,

Training in the Police, Military and practically every other profession is relevant and constant throughout ones career. Techniques, tactics and reaction drills change and are constantly updated to meet new challenges and threats. Personal skills need to be refreshed and further developed and in some cases reclassified to remain current.

With this in mind it is important that all understand the need within this industry to do likewise. Our commitment as training providers is to give people the skills they shall require in order to do their job, safely, correctly and to the highest possible standard. We work alongside others with similar mindsets.

I can honestly say that Morrigan or Edelweiss , will provide you with a high standard training relevant to your needs, neither company works of a tick box attendance.

having just graduated from the Trojan Course in Arkansas for the price and the methodology of the training i think it would be a mistake to overlook them.

having spent 18 years as a police offier in America. I can say that the firearms program is second to none. The course is taught by Ex British Forces and they work in conjunction with GooseCP out of hereford. They are presenting a course for operating in Hostile Environemnts. This course includes ALL weapons that you are likely to encounter from Kalashnikov to M4 and everything in between including handguns all makes.

We did live fire exercises that in my opinion is unlike anything i have ever seen or taken part in. The level of experience in my course was Foreign Legion, Private Security Contractors from American Special Forces and myself primarily from the police background. For the price and the level of training i think it would be beneficial to you to take a look at his course and give it a serious look in your future plans.
