This type of request should certainly generate a wide variety of responses. Some considerations you may have include how much time you wish to invest, weapon training or empty hand, your fitness level and probably how serious you are about your training.
Whether you are training for self defense, third party defense, employment as a CP or Psd or you just want to improve your own response selections will certainly influence your school choice. I should also mention your budget. |

Check out www.hockscqc.com he offers a good, solid no frills cqc course covering hand to hand, knife, impact weapons and firearms.
If you are interested I have the contact details for the chief and senior instructos here in the UK. Hock is a true professional and he has been invited to over 175 active police and military units world-wide. Hope this helps. Take care. |

I would agree with Invictus. Hock is good.. I've attended a couple of seminars with him. As is Blaure and a few others. But you have to decide is what you want from the training... There is so much variety out there.. I'm a Krav Maga instructor... The courses available for professionals, rather than the general public are excellent.
There is another guy in Bournemouth who is outstanding. His name at the moment escapes me and I'm stuck in a hotel room and thus unable to to check in my desktop address book. Have a think about what your after, then we may be able to be more specific in our advice! |

Im sorry your request is of course as realistic as it should be.
i just saw the humour in this.. I thought you all had the experiences from your football games Lol** have a pint, of to see a ballgame and then come back home as the ultimate fighter www.ipdta.com !!!!! I know these instructors very well. And I have trained with them as well and worked side by side with some of them in heavy fights some years back. Many of them are Police selfdefence, conflict management, CQB instructors They also travel to Poland every year since there they can train (full contact) Their training is not for those that have problem feeling pain.. Its a realistic training for sure! if you require anything more..just drop me mail hawk |

We can recommend Kikaku, we use him ourselves on the CP courses.

I was thinking about doing a course but found, after looking into it, that this is something that you need to continuously update, practice and refresh. I looked up my local Krav Maga club and got stuck in. A good system and if the instructor is able to and has the time, will get you into some interesting third party solutions and weapon drills to use and practice. It's also very good for fitness and will travel with you. Almost 3 years on and I'm still learning. And it works!
