Personal Protection Specialist Training
Sexton Executive Security, Inc., announces the Personal Protection Specialist course to be held in Dubai, UAE on October 11-18, 2008.

The Personal Protection Specialist (PPS) course was designed and developed for security personnel who are tasked with protecting clients – either in the United States or abroad. Also known as Executive Protection (E.P.), these agents may be assigned to a C.E.O., celebrity, high net worth individual or any other domestic or visiting dignitary.

SEXTON’s main focus is on the corporate sector as opposed to the type of assignments found in the more hostile regions of the world. The majority of the work in which U.S. based E.P. agents will be engaged revolves around large corporations and those who have a need for the ultimate in personal security.

SEXTON’s training is fully certified by the Department of Criminal Justice Services (D.C.J.S.) and upon completion, graduates qualify to become certified as Personal Protection Specialists. Many graduates also become eligible to work details with Sexton Executive Security.

Some of the topics and areas of study include:

• Assessment of Threat and Protectee Vulnerability – studies of famous Assassinations and Assassination attempts such as Prime Minister Rabin and President Reagan
• Legal Authority and Civil Law
• Protective Detail Operations, Motorcades, Attacks on Motorcade
• Domestic and International Advances
• Terrorism Awareness
• CPR, AED, Self Defense and Conflict Resolution
• Practical Exercises involving: attacks on client, establishing and maintaining a Command Post (C.P.) and Advance Surveys
• Firearms familiarization and force-on-force exercises

Our instructors come from varied backgrounds including: Police S.W.A.T., Dept. of State, Intel Units, F.B.I., U.N., Corporate America and Military Special Forces.

Sorry about that detail being omitted. We're still negotiating the lodging, but I promise it will be posted when my boss gets back. He's there now wrapping up the loose ends.

The price for the 8 day (one free day) program in Dubai is $4500 US, which includes meals, lodging and airport shuttling. All course training materials and in country transportation is also included.

An additional 3 day professional firearms program will be offered in conjunction with this class at a cost of $1800 US, which of course includes weapons and ammo. These are not run and gun, Rambo/merc/SWAT firearms classes. They are designed for the various PPS scenarios and team responses. Pistols, sub guns and shotguns. You'll enjoy this program!
