Hi Guys, been reading a lot of threads posted about H.E CP courses looking to get a picture of which one is the best, most respected and value for money. Longmoor keeps cropping up as does Ronin SA and PSD. Wondering if any of you have done Ronin concepts, Trojan(USA) or Nemesis. Also saw a thread for Regal/Morrigan course in serbia which seemed very reasonably priced. I have had a good look around CPW site and am impressed by the experience and calibre of operators who are on it. Any useful info for me regarding not just courses but anything else you might think is helpful will be greatly appreciated. Stay safe Guys! R.I.P. Pete Thorpe

Our next HECPO/PSD course starts on October 24th . Price is 1795 all in ex flights. Typically flight would be around 50-120 GBP depending on airport and date.

Hello mate and welcome.

I presume you'll be looking at Iraq/Afghan etc so the first option is to see which training companies are respected by the major firms.

For example Aegis recognise the following training providers:

(not in order of preference, alphabetical)

Longmoor Group
Psd Training Group
Ronin Concepts
Ronin SA
Trojan

Career - Form

If you check with the other major players they will verify the same. All of the above companies have good reputations and are respected for turning out good operators.
You question as to which is the best has probably been covered in other threads mate, have a look around.

Samuel, I Have done the HE course by Trojan USA and would recommend them as being very experinced in what they do and also being good at it. How ever some courses have more emphasis on certain areas as others, Trojan did not do much in the area of FiRst Aid in the HE course but covered in great detail contact drills. So its a case of looking around mate to see what is out there, I would like to also mention that you should look into speaking to Morrigan Solutions Sebia who are also on this forum and who also work with RST security England. I have done no courses with the last two firms mentioned but have personally met them and would put my hand in the fire to say they could offer what you need.Best off luck.

Can i just say that if you are ever 3 sheets to the wind, in a completely foriegn environment with no clue as to where you are in relation to anything else, so drunk that you cant see, and you have 3 hrs to catch a plane, find your hotel , get packed and perform all the other necessary ablutions........... 24/7 above is your man!!

Cheers Guys, all info so far been very helpful. I'm really enjoying this site. Blokes seem pretty switched on but still have a sense of humor. 24/7, sounds like i need to party with you LOL
