Good luck on your course, although might be a bad idea to read the manual before.

It will give you pre-formed ideas that may be different to where/what you're learning and impede your learning process.

The best student is one that comes with an open mind and no preconceived ideas. They don;t need untrained or retrained, just trained. They also learn the most, like a sponge.

(by pre-conceived ideas i am referring to self-study as opposed to experience)

Rudy, I totally agree with MTS, some of the manuals do have some out of date and strange ideas. There is nothing wrong with doing some 'homework' prior to you arriving on your course and getting some help from people on here, but, as MTS says, the 'open mind' approach works the best. Plus if you write your own manual from notes you take on the course, it will mean so much more to you. Anyway thats my tuppence worth, good luck on the course and I really hope that you enjoy it and learn some new and useful skills. Take care, Ken.

Agree completely with Ken, Rudy

The most difficult student is one who thinks he knows the skills and drills prior to arrival and they are also usually the ones who find it most difficult to adapt. You shall receive all the training aids , instruction, live exercises etc on your course anyways. The best prep you can do is make sure you are fit and arrive with the 'sponge' approach is ready to soak up everything.

Good Luck mate

Hi Mick,
28 pulls ups is that fit enough ,LOL
Do you mean that all companies doing cp/ Psd courses do not theach the same techniques,?

Exp: If I do a course with PSD training I will not learn the same thing that: Ronin , morrigan , etc

Don't this companies have the same ( work procedures) ,?

Regards

Rudy

The same work procedures for the most part i assume as hey will cover what sia requires. The most significant differences between material is based on the personal input of the instructors and managers based on experiences.

Klockan, If you want to read up on things, try the Bodyguards bible mate, but as the others have stated, you will learn all you need to know on your course
