mans a total asshole in my personal opinion (thats mr gallagher not man who did him over), and i find it rioutously funny. Can't think of too many people who will have any sympathy for him.

Now all we need is someone to take out britney, mariah carey and a whole host of other annoying wailing banshees, and the world could be so much better.

i like oasis musicaly to be fair, but someone needs to explain to Mr Gallagher that he had had his 5 minutes of fame in the mid to late 90's and beating people up and being a basic asshole for the last ten years or so does not make you famous anymore. Obviously he's getting a tad short of cash so needs to re-invent himself, should try re-inventing his attitude too it isn't big nor clever....... and as for that carey woman god i loathe her simpering crap, i'd gladly take the hag out and do humanity a favour

Not that I have much time for spoiled celebrities either, but we are in the field to protect clients and speaking personally, I can not afford to only look to protect the ones I admire/and or respect (short list there to be sure). Being a business owner, I can always say no - especially to the likes of Gary "I like little children" Glitter.

On the face of it, this appears to be a lapse of security, but then again, knowing how people with plenty of money can be such tight arses, Gallagher might have only hired one security cordinator (happened to me in Mexico City a few years ago when I was responsible for 70+ entertainers) and that person could not be every where all the time. Or, he might have had enough back stage security but they were otherwise engaged with the groupies.

Hence they most probably think they don't need protection has their HEADS are that BIG, and if so, their security bods were still in their dressing room stoned from the after night party the previous evening!!! OK I admit I think he is a bit of a twat, that is just a personal opinion though. That is what you get I suppose from ripping of the Beatles although sometimes ripping off a Beatle gets you £24 Million even if you dont have a leg to stand on

well i agree with celticbg, this is the field to protect clients whether or not you like them ( to a point ofcourse ), if you had a time that u needed cash and had to protect them i recon most bg's would take the chance

I feel that the point to this could be that the guy managed to get on stage to star with, were was the security presence to stop this happening? Followed shortly to the guy getting him, but htey manage to get him afterwards!!!!!

Done some music artists before and feel that the problem could be not hiring the right people for the job to start with, because most peoples attitude is "it's not going to happen to us.......", hops it did.
