We have added a extra forum which is called
 Ask an ExpertWe have a financial adviser with experience of dealing with operatives working abroad. (tax implications etc) Who else should we invite into the room?

haha, would still be nice (either real name or made up name) for someone to be able to answer the questions members have.
I'm sure alot of the problems they have will be down to funding and lack of staff. The story of many organisations.

I was one of the Lobby group for the doorperson's forum that met with the sia at their invite! We had a two hour meeting with the Chief Exec and another top person. We asked if someone could come on that forum to answer questions directly. The answer was NO. But they did say that we could use our contacts and email them questions about general things (not about individual cases). So I am happy to do this for this forum as well. However, whilst some of the answers I get are useful some only really point me to advice on their website and they won't be any more detailed or specific.

Would be good to get someone on here for legal advice, seen as you have a financial person. Just a suggestion..anyone know a lawyer ??
