Good Morning to the mighty members of the Forum!

Apologies for not posting earlier but I've been away working on the old tan!

I need to say thank you like a hundred times to so many people so i'll just go ahead and start.

Firstly thanks to all the guys and girls who turned up in London. Approx just over 100 members turned up - a fantastic turn out! It was very very interesting to see the other members and to put faces to names! Apparently I'm alot taller and younger than what people expected! LOL

Thanks to all the Moderators for helping me out NOMAD, Annie and Lildev666- especially Lildev666 who alone managed to sell over £600 worth of raffle tickets! Your a star Lildev666 - thank you very much!

We are awaiting a confirmation of the total raised but we are looking at approx £649.80. - What a result!

Thanks to all our guest speakers who went out their way to deliver their respective presentations. I feel the personal accident presentation by David Finch struck a particular chord with quite a few forum members.

Finally thanks to the dodgy old geezer with the ear piece and suspicious looking sqaure box strapped to his stomach!!! ???? LOL - very covert! LOL

Seriously, guys apart from the lack of PA, painfully slow bar staff and 'low calorie' buffet i feel the night was a success.

I believe the forum is now developing from a simple internet forum site into a community which shares the same ethos of free simple and friendly advice.

So finally guys once again thanks for everything!

I have to admit i though CM was way older than he is, the mans barely out of short trousers he's so young, and he is very tall too. Bet he still has all his own teeth and everything

Yep, Well done CM for pulling this all together and Annie you are right that breakfast conversation was a tad disturbing. I guess that is the more open nature of the Navy where it is encouraged to discuss the finer points of hotpants and where to obtain gold ones at short notice

Thanks to everyone that attended, without you there would have been no function and many travelled quite far to attend, admittedly not as far as me but I do live an international jet setting life style! (actually bugger all happens here in NZ so we have to haha!)

Oh and CM is a lot taller than I imagined, I actually thought he was a dwarf

Lol gold hot pants and roller skates at breakfast hehe, god knows what topics we would have covered at lunch and dinner ;-) and that was without any alcohol passing anywhere near anyones lips.

A good evening was had by all, it was nice to meet those that attended, anyone who couldn't make it due to work commitments etc, maybe you will be to be able to attend the next one.
