I'm in the same boat as Smithster; an other recent member. Or i'm at least paddling alongside him.

I joined the RAF on the first run of the CIS course in 2005. Had my NZ immigration forms pulled from the pool during recruit training. Got a nerve injury made my decisions and left with an Honourable discharge (not medical). I am now back in the UK after not finding decent full time employment in NZ and turning down the option of the RNZAF. I've re-applied for RAF entry but theres a long process ahead with me being out of the country for a while.

So i'm weighing up my options. If i need help i'll ask!

If there are any private investigative/surveillance types out there reading the introductions, could you share your opinion on whether or not a Computer Forensics Honours degree would be worth the extortionate amounts charged nowadays? My local uni is touted as second only to Cranfield when it comes to this field; Glamorgan Uni.

With regards to the computer forensic course a friend of mine has this qual and has 1 year left in the forces, hes already being head hunted by companies in London.

This course is highly sort after and you could be looking at £45k+ in the London area.
