Q. Do you represent a company?
A. Yes, I run Meido Consultants, we have been involved in UK security training since way back in 1992 at the start of the first Westminster Council Door Supervisor courses, and have been going ever since. We run SIA CPO courses and also are a fully-operation international security consultancy. Our consultancy site is at Meido Consultants - Corporate Security, and the training site is Welcome.


Q. What area's in the Security Industry are you interested in?
A. Mainly CP, as well as corporate consultancy covering international operation management. I also have an MSc in Security and Risk Management from Scarman Institute, Leicester University, and I lecture there on international security, counter-terrorism and public policy. I would be very happy if anyone was interested in discussing those areas.

Q. What do you hope to get from the forum?
A. It is always good to be able to plug into a network like this, and I look forward to making contacts and learning from people who have their own experiences in fields different from my own.

Q. Tell our members something about yourself?

A. I am a family man, four kids, travel a lot, I write a monthly column in Combat & Survival (on Security Industry), still practice Aikido regularly (been doing that since 1984!!) and am always up for a coffee if you are passing through NW London
