Q. Do you represent a company? A. Hello all. Just a quick introduction. I represent a reletively new company called Trojan Security Solutions (Jersey) Ltd. Operating from Jersey (C.I.) into mainland UK and across into Europe. Q. What area's in the Security Industry are you interested in? A. We are a provider of Close Protection personnel with work ranging from Residential duties upto large Security Details. We also provide 24 hr Security Guards for both static and vehicle borne protection of shops and building sites. We have Surveillance Operators and Private Investigaters from Europe and are now keen to welcome any British Operators with relevant exeriance. Finally, the crux of our work comes from Risk Assessment and Management. All personnel with relevant qualifications and experiance are welcome to contact us. Q. What do you hope to get from the forum? A. From this forum i hope to gain more contacts within the security industry operating in the UK. Also, as you all know, knowledge is power and i would welcome all advice given by proven and experianced men and women within the industry. Q. Tell our members something about yourself? A. The majority of our staff are ex-military, however a small percentage come from a civilian background. We have ex- Rmp CP aswel as ex Police and Firearms Specialists. Our Directing team have around 35 years combined operational experiance including ex SF CP instructors. Q. How did you find our website Close Protection World? A. Q. welcome Trojan Security Ltd, just a question though why Trojan as I am sure you are a ware of Trojan Securities international, would this not be better for you to distance yourselves and have your own unique name for marketing? I am asking this question as we have a couple of providers in CP that have similiar names, which have caused them some problems over the years.
Example: a student went on your course and came away thinking it was not up to standard, what does he say to warn his mates (TROJAN were crap) question now is which Trojan your company or the other. Just my views mate but just trying to help, I wish you and your company all the best in a difficult market. |

On Nov 8th 2008 in London there is an official cpw forum function where top cp'o and training providers are getting together... There also going to be guest speakers on the day. The entry is free and only have to pay £10 for a buffet meal... A good opportnatey to network and meet people from like minded career... As member "24/7" said, the name "Trojan" has been around for years!! There is a vey good security equipment supplies comapny run by the "Pieman" in Liverpool I think he is plus they have a middle east office. There was another company linked to one in the States who were providing training....that might be the one mentioned earlier as I know it wasn't sia accredited.
