Please don't slag off companies - heres why

Hello All.

I appreciate members adding posts containing advice but as a forum, we have to be careful about the content of threads, even though we do not write them.

I cannot get involved with disputes between companies and their students or disputes between companies or allow potentially libellous comments.

Think of it this way, I've no way of knowing for certain if you represent a rival company, a disgrunteld ex employee, if its the truth etc...

The posts on this forum are public available, it is not private.

We do have a private message feature which allows you to send a private message to other members which will not be available to the public. What is Private Messaging?

I do agree with the OP. Slagging off a company is unprofessional.

However, Intelligent Criticism is something different.

How intelligent do you have to be to know the difference?

Just a stab in the dark, but im guessing anyone with enough intelligence would know how much you would need to know the difference lol ;-)

I agree that comments should not be directed specifically at companies by mentioning either the company names or the names of their directors but comments made about commercial organisations in general are and should be allowed in their own right.

i've ben dying to tell you all about an experience in baghdad and iraq with a certain company...!!!

however, having a genuine story to tell and saving it for the right moment is much more beneficial to the the teller than to the reader..!!

for those who feel it necessary to slate peoples on a professional level, just remember that revenge is a dish best served cold.....!!
