You might get an 'interview' by the Isreali boarder control, I've found it not to be a problem.
Other option worth considering: 2nd passport, always handy.

And ot answer your question directly: it could be hard to enter ANY Middle Eastern Country with an Isreali stamp in your passport, not impossible, but harder and sometimes it can mean anything from: visas get delayed, not validated or revoced.
To Answer that question you should have a second passport which you use for reason like this as a UK National you are aloud by Law a Working Passport as well as a Holiday Passport all you need is a letter from a respected company why you require this.

This was brought up in a conversation today. I was told not to get mine stamped if I visited the country - Isreal. Working or training, as it would be hard to get into any other UAE country, especially within the security industry. Not sure if its correct or if this has ever been the case, or if it was, has it changed?

If anyone can help I would be much obliged.

Many thanks

Do not, under any circumstances get Israel to stamp your passport. Israeli airlines and other and Biritsh Airlines provide a slip which you can hand over with your passport, this will be stapled to your passport and stamped. When you leave the Country rip it out after Uk immigration....If you travel to Eygpt, Morocco, Algeria, Nigeria blah blah blah your life willl be hell if they see a Star of David stamp. Trust me, some countries will deport you after throwing you in a cell for week, if you get the stamp in the Main Pages of the passport you might as well throw it in the washing machine...take it to the passport office (which you need an appointment for these days) and say the obvious. they cottoned on to this a few years ago and if you had more than 3 "damaged" passports within 5 years, then a 10 year would be given, but only valid fior a year....not worth the hassle...you will also start to attract the greydogs IMHO. If you are looking for training in ISRAEL then PM me, there are only 2 good companies I would recommend.

Friendly advice from someone who has been through this nightmare of : - an aircraft with a technical problem that landed in a muslim Contry enroute...

I train and work alot in Israel, when i work in the Mid East i make sure no Israeli stamps show on my passports. Only Jordan and Egypt have diplomatic ties with Israel and they are not too hot at the best of times :-) , (Israeli Passport control will not stamp your Passport if you request, and you will be given a seperate stamped piece of paper). i have been into Iraq alot and other Mid East countries with work and would not risk having any Israeli stamp or Israel connection with any country who does have diplomatic relations with Israel.
