Breathmints is on a distinguished road
I've been searching through the world of CP for the past month or so, but being stateside, it's a bit daunting with many courses and opportunities halfway around the world.

Airfare isn't a problem, it's just that I would like to see or hear firsthand about some different companies.

I've found a few bad apples so far in my search. One company tried to scam me out of $400, and was run by a guy in an apartment.

Also, I am currently 19 years old. I know that some companies only offer training to those that are 21+. How flexible is that policy, if at all, and are there companies that DO hire under 21?

Thank you in advance for your time.

Hi mate,

Sorry to hear you got scammed out of your cash, it is unfortunate but these things do sometimes happen, could you do a favour and name and shame the company that did this to you?

Just to be clear on your points , at 19 and I assume you have no Military background ? You will find it difficult to secure employment in a CP role. I would suggest to you that you look around your local area and get some event security or guarding employment before spending a lot of money on flights, courses and then discover that most companies wont touch you until you are mid twenties....

Can I suggest perhaps a stint in the military? Maybe National Guard if you are stateside? There are loads of good training teams in the states that you can attend also.

I would forget any Hostile work with your age and background.
