Welcome to the forum Ted and thanks for advertising this vacancy with us.
Best of luck with your new contract. CM PS I rarely receive any feed back on the quantity and quality of CV's that people amass during these posts. I would be grateful if you could PM me how you get on and your thoughts. |

Thanks for the post Ted.
For those interested in this position who hold a British passport its worth noting that: Holders of British Citizen passports can enter South Korea for tourist purposes for up to 90 days without a visa. You must also have an onward or return ticket. Visas are required for all other purposes. It is illegal to work on a tourist visa in South Korea, whether as a teacher or in any other capacity. If you wish to work you should contact the nearest South Korean Diplomatic Mission before you travel for information on obtaining the appropriate documentation. In addition, you should research the educational establishment or company where you intend to work as thoroughly as possible. Please see the General section of this travel advice if you are considering a teaching job in South Korea. Holders of all other types of British passport should contact the nearest South Korean Diplomatic Mission before traveling. |

Phone number on the site does not work.
Curious: Was anyone asked for bank details? Was anyone mucked around with deployment dates and assured it is happening etc? I hope not, but this is curious indeed.... m |

erm yes maybe!
Lets wait out for confirmation first though before we make any judgements. Out of interest why do companies do this...i dont mean this one in particular but in general? Is it a case of they get a sniff of a contract; they panic, need guys, promise the earth, cant produce or dont win the contract and then jus dissapear? I think ive answered my own question ! LOL CM |
