Great Site, especially for getting information and advice. It is also useful for obtaining up to date information on training, changes to legislation and current trends in all aspects of the Security Industry. It is also an effective medium for networking, renewing old acquaintances and making new ones.

Hats off to the admin and moderators who have to the most part kept this a net tool to chat, network , advertise and make a tongue and cheek (to those who get it) or serious critique / appraisal of the industry as a whole... I doubt there is a better forum in the EU and further afield with more bonafide security professionals , boasted within the membership.... the advice here to new members is blunt but to the point and in my opinion is second to nowhere else on the worldwide web... join CP world or remain in the dark!!!!!

Hard to put into words, really... but as my fellow members above me, I'll give it a go!

This forum is definitely one of its kind - there is no alternative. The wealth of information and help available from the members is invaluable, and I have learned more from this forum than I have from anywhere else.
It cannot be compared to any other resource, online or offline; I have witnessed the existence of CPWorld being of huge help and advantage to at least dozens of people, and have personally greatly benefited from it. (*)
Words cannot describe it, really - this forum is, to say it with a cheesy song title, simply the best

(*) As I said in another topic, I got an interview through a post on this forum. I'm waiting for a reply at the moment, but whether I get the job or not I am greatly indebted to CPWorld and diggerg who created the thread linking to the vacancy.
I will definitely be donating once I get my sh.. financial situation sorted out!

Close Protection World has been one of the best resources on the net for not only seasoned operatives but also new people to the industry. It's non elitist approach has been one of it's strengths and a point of difference to other forums and networking tools. This has only been possible because of the members that participate and it is in their characters which creates the quality and honesty of the information presented.

It was those attributes that first got me involved with the site at its start and is what I like to keep as a moderator. As a resources for the industry there is no equal and long may it continue.

Dear Sirs,

My therapist stated that I needed to find an outlet for my pent up anger and distorted view upon life, otherwise I was in danger of returning to my old psychotic self. Alas, this site has helped me acheive this by helping with the voices in my head.

I have reduced these voices from many to only two...One for arguing the professionalism and standards of our industry, and One for slating the Walts.

Thankyou CPW for helping me convince the Doctors that I am now fit enough to rejoin society next week as a normal human being.

Anyway, must dash....this afternoon I get to be the Fire Engine in group therapy whoop whoop!

On a serious note, excellent website for the exchange of information and networking opportunities. Queries such as company information, training and development requests responded to by members extremely quickly. A portal where new professional ideas are also discussed and developed, a must for both those looking to join the industry and existing professionals alike.
