Hi Guys,

i am looking to organise training days at our venue in South Wales. Its an idea only at this stage and I'm curious if any one on CPW would interested ?

It will basically be a day every 3-4 months where handlers of all levels and experience can get together and carry out training that may be difficult to do on your own due to lack of help, facilities , experience or equipment as a few examples.

For novice teams it an opportunity to start from the basics and get help on how to train your dog yourself. For the qualified and experienced you can always learn new or different techniques and share your own skills with others. It will also be continuation training for teams that have completed the NASDU / ASET Level 2 GP course with us...
We have kennels , classrooms , training areas , accommodation and can provide catering as a package.. Best of all a bar on site as i hope we can encourage handlers to stay over so we can make a bit of a social event of it in the evening and a chance to network...
If you take a look at this link it will give you a better idea of how i see it working and the costs involved... ..:: k9 CT Days ::.. .

At the moment we are just looking at GP but we could also do similar for Explo or drugs with enough interest....
Please let me know if anyone is interested and a suggested date for the first one ?

Cheers Simon
