Hairy Moments!

Hey there everybody!

Been thinking about posting a question that will get everybody posting something so the best thing I can think of is something that some of you might not wanna say because you might be worried that it could make you look like you wernt doing your job properly but I am only trying to create an interesting topic so,

What has been your most memorable 'Hairy' moment in the field or on the job?

I will be posting this on a couple of different forum topics so that we can tell all the different stories from different areas!

From the door. When my collegue told me afterward that had he not shouted my name, i was about a second away from punting a blokes head, it was right next to the kerb. Would have been a real mess.Although, I was more angry that i had let the guy affect me that way. Blinkers off. He was very violent toward me :'(

Working in alapdancing bar where all the ladies were surgically enhanced and being asked if i wanted to feel them by a huge lady was a rather hairy moment.......... if i said no i could be seen as being prudish and possibly rude, if i said yes please i'd look a bit like a rug muncher...........was saved by a big friendly doorman saying he'd have a feel if she liked and then him getting a slap round the face....... I love you big friendly doorman wherever you may be now......... probably prison again

I remember very early in my relationship with the original Mrs H, a surgically enhanced lapdancer, and I escorted her to a big works party (hers not mine) at one of the bigger (or indeed biggest) club(s) about... The place was filled with ladies 'checking out' each others.. er... assets... It reminded me somewhat of my platoon all comparing their latest purchase from Silvermans...
"Hmm... Nice.. Where'd you get 'em from?"

Having to remove six mongrel mob members (a NZ bikie gang) from the bar by myself... it took a while but managerd to pull it off with just words.. took me a long time to get to sleep that day!

Hi All,

Ive only got a couple of years experience on the door, but as far as hairyest moments go....

1) working the door of a pub in Birmingham with an albanian mate of mine, turn up at the pub after a local derby to find 20+ fans on the tables in the beer garden, smashing glasses and not wanting to leave. 3 door staff 20 plus fans+, that was interesting, we resolved in peacefully in the end, but i did have a sit down and a think when i got home haha!!

2) saturday nights, pub doors, between midnight and 2am, hairy hours lol....

Working a door in Coventry. A guy had managed to fall asleep on a bar-stool (one of the small ones) Landlord asked me to remove him.So I strolled up and tried to rouse him, no joy,this went on till I got to the slapping cheeks bit..he comes around only to fall backwards off the chair,I grabbed his t-shirt to stop him, then THUD! all the pub looked around (it was Friday ) there was I, stood over this guy, who was sparko, wiht a fist full of his t-shirt in my hand. You could have heard a pin drop.
Thought the gaffer was going to kick me off the door, when he walks up with a pint and as shake of the hand lol
Did try to explain,but no-one believed me.
