are there any certain criteria for getting an sia lecense or is it just the relevant qualification?

ans also is the qualification just written work, or does it involve physical activities etc.

and does the license consider what mark you acheive or is it a pass / fail thing

sia Door Supervisor course is a combination of theory work and role play. There is a multiple choice exam at the end, of the 4 day course. You have to achieve a percentage to get a pass.

Lol, they check your mental health pmsl... You have to be have to be insane surely to work on the doors hehee, well I find it helps.

Although there is role play it is not examined. ie the pass fail bit is just on the two exams and not how well you can do the job. Also note that there is no training in control and restraint or self defence.
It is currently taking around 4 months for the sia to process license applications.
