Nightclub bouncers up for kidnap

Johannesburg - Three night-club bouncers have been arrested for kidnapping and assaulting two men, say police.
Captain Bheki Mavundla said one of them was arrested in Bertrams and the others in Hillbrow.
"The suspects allegedly kidnapped two men, aged 24 and 25, at the Little Rosemead night-club in Hillbrow on Tuesday. They locked the victims in the boot of their car, drove them to Bertrams and assaulted them with baseball bats," he said.
It appeared that the bouncers knew their victims.
The two injured men were admitted to hospital on Wednesday. While one of them had since been discharged, the was still in a critical condition. Mavundla said police had also confiscated two licensed firearms, which would be sent for ballistics tests. He said the three bouncers would appear at Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on Monday.
