Sia Courtcase

Well after several weeks making two hour long phone calls and a visit to my local MP, I am now going to issue "notice" on the sia for loss of my private documents that included my passport and both bits of driving licence. I have in the last week alone racked up £35.76 in phone calls to the idiots at SIA, one phone call I had on waiting for three hours!

It appears that there must be only one person workign in the imaginary office and that God only knows where my passport is, in this light I reported the loss to the police the other day as a precaution.

Also has anyone actually found where ther offices are for the sia? You put in the postcode into Google maps and it comes up with a block of flats in Liverpool! One thing worth trying though is that the Royal Mail by law has to release the original owners address of PO Box numbers, this I will try and if successful I and several others are going to pay this office a visit and get things sorted out like the loss of my paperwork and salery lost.

The summons only costs around £108.00 in the County Court for losses up to £5000.00 so this may be one only pursuit. My guess is that they'll ignore the court order so at least that way I can issue a bailiffs notice to seize their one and only computer!

If anyone else is interested in a visit to the offices of the sia...let me know!

I had heard a few weeks ago,that the idiots at the sia, only had 7 call staff at their liverpool office including managers,please issue the court case,and keep us updated on this chears and stay safe ram out.

I just received my docs back today by Courier and had to sign for them, have they acknowledged recieving your docs?

They got them but saying the documents are not scanned onto the system....derrr!

Maybe a good option is also lodging a complaint with the bbc watch dog, be a good idea maybe to get the press involved not that I always agree what the press has to say at least they might be able to expose the shoddy work the sia have being doing and how many documents have being sent to them that has being lost, then once again how much vetting is really going in after news reports this week of more illegal security officers working on Olympic sites, makes a person think, good luck skinhead, would be good to hear what the outcome is going to be.
