I've sent my application to sia on 28th of May 2008, and today I visited their web page to see whats up and surprise surprise, this must be the SIA world record, 6 weeks exactly:
Licences Applied for Door Supervision Licence Granted 10/07/2008 Validate Done 17/06/2008 Payment Done 17/06/2008 Correspondence - Outbound Done 17/06/2008 Passport Check - CS Done 02/07/2008 Criminality Check Done 09/07/2008 Correspondence - Outbound Done 20/06/2008 Qualification Check Done 24/06/2008 ID Check Done 24/06/2008 Your Door Supervision licence has been issued. WOOHOO!!! |

Well thank you, it was a renewal application for a licence I was granted originally in 2004,
but back then it took them 9 months to process my application, so it's a massive improvement. I just wonder if I will have as much luck with applying when I will come back from my CP course in September and will have to apply for CP badge then
