you're probably certified already. i mean, how hard is it to supervise a door? stand back a couple of inches away from an opened door, close it and watch people come in and out. how the hell hard was that?

For something that you believe to be simple, it is amazing how many get it wrong. Good skills in conflict management and psychology go a long way as to is a good grounding of law. After all you do not want to lose your licence for some minor indiscretion that although may well be warranted, can and will be used against you. Don't forget that if a complaint is made against you, the sia will suspend you pending the outcome so in effect you are guilty until proven innocent. A good doorperson will know all the tricks to prevent possible complaints even in an area heavily monitored by CCTV, something that would be valuable ina course, not just the textbook stuff.

Good luck in your endevours as a trainer kenshiro, it is actualy quite rewarding occupation giving skills to people that will help them to be all that they can be.

You still need the City & Guilds 1886 Conflict Management Trainers Certificate then you need to contact an Awarding Body such as British Institute of Innkeeping, NOCN or BTEC etc. They will advise you correctly on what steps you need to complete to obtain Centre Status, or you could try getting a job as a trainer with a security / training company.

You will need a lot of paperwork in order to set up a Centre Status to enable you to deliver training. Any further info you require feel free to PM or email me bud.

You have never worked in the Security Industry bye giving an answer like that only show that you are a little computer nerd who sits behind his pc writing SH1TE about a pretty tough industry, I doubt you could even hold your own p1ss inn.

co19 will become famous soon enough
I would contact a security company with centre accrediation, accreditation costs money and the exams also cost money. If you can offer to work and observe how a course is conducted and learn from the experience, you will have to show core competency to the awarding body. Good Luck do a bit of research and if there are any more questions by all means PM me, I am not a trainer in Door Supervision but i can answer the training accreditation questions.

You may find your 7407 is no longer valid... You would have to check.. If it is you still require a City & Guilds 1886 (conflict management) as half the course is solely dedicated to that part of the exam... Its also the best bit.. The first part (role and responsibilities) is duuulll!!!!

Apart from that you need to prove sector competancy, however as you hold the licence you shouldn't find it too taxing!

danimonio,

It seems your ignorant post measures your lack of knowledge about the industry and the fact that some of the fundamentals security skills are found at this level are built on.
Find another forum to write useless shit. Looks like no place for you.
