Alpha 281,
This is my personal opinion, and not that of the site management. I am sorry but running your course at that price surely cant be cost effective, as aswell as pushing all the other incomes of other trainers down. This is the same as CP's or DS taking work for stupid amount of money, undercutting everyone else and bringing the pay rate down for the other trainers in the industry is not a good idea. If students see the DS course advertised for that amount, other students will not be prepared to pay any higher than that. Its hard enough as it is in the industry without trainers undercutting each other and lowering income. I know its a dog eeat dog industry but maybe if we pull together then it wont get too bad. Its bad enough thats its on a slippery slope with operators pay being cut, lets not try to let this happen with the trainers also. Regards Lildev666 Last edited by 80085; 13-08-2008 at 10:59 AM. Hi lildev666,
Firstly, yes i do understand what you mean, and yes it is a " dog eat dog world" but also i know of courses being deliverd at the lower rate than mine in london due to the top up from the learning skills council. indeed, the price of the course in trainers eyes, is low and might not be cost affective, but for me my return in income is sufficient and comftarble. i am not a greedy person as i enjoy my work to the highest extent, and i have worked hard like everyone else to get where i am today, and i know as a trainer that this is a subject that will go on untill the cows come home. please understand, that i am more than happy with with the cost of the course, as have been many company's that whom i have deliverd for, and there have been no complaints to date. I belive the sia did not set standard for the price of any course, but standard must be set on how it is deliverd. forgive me if i have offended any trainers on this subject because of the price of the course i deliver, and if it will cause flair, then i rather the post to be removed, as i joind this site to meet new friends and learn and network with other industry proffesionals. once again i appologise for any inconvinience. Regards alpha |

Alpha,
No it has not caused any flair not al all... It was only my view/opinion, it does not represent any other individual or trainer. It is indeed a site for netwoking etc making aquaintences of professionals etc. I wish you well with your business, and next course. Regards Lildev666 |
