Tactical Medical Care is an intensive 5 day operational readiness course for Bodyguards, Military, Police and
Close Protection personnel deploying to remote and hostile environments.
The ‘Hands on’ scenario based training ensures all operators become proficient in:
The Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) protocols, dealing with catastrophic haemorrhage (tourniquets & haemostatics), treating hypovolaemic shock, basic life support, airway management, oxygen administration, casualty packaging and evacuation, environmental issues (heat & cold injuries, bites & stings), recording vital signs, an overview of cannulation and fluid resuscitation (in order to assist a paramedic) and much more…..
The course culminates in the award of the following certificates:
- First Aid at Work - Health & Safety Executive (HSE)
- Tactical Medical Care - Approved by the Medical Training Authority (MTA)
- Tactical Medical Care Operator - Accredited by the International Association of CPOs
- Oxygen Administration - Global Tactical Medical Award
The course is delivered by
CP Medics who have extensive experience of dealing with trauma in Baghdads’ busiest Combat Support Hospital.
This course provides the basic first aid qualification for
Close Protection Operatives to attain a UK
Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence to practice, whilst developing enhanced skills for high tempo operations in remote areas around the globe.
The course is all inclusive of training, food, 5 nights accomodation, manuals, certification, internet access etc.
