and just as an aside, they should rename it ...... Navy vs 'FIJIAN ARMY'
since the cheating cannon fodder started using our pacific cousins we havent stood a chance!!! And as a former Navy rugby player I can say why we are always winning at halftime and lose by the end........ the Fijian Army team pass around oranges and lucozade at half time.... the navy pass around several bottles of port and a 'MESSY-BURGER'!!!!!

I shall indeed be going... I attend every year and abuse my hosts most roundly... Bloody blanket stackers... Although hopefully this year the RN 'team' (using the term team in its loosest fashion. Rabble is probably more accurate) will attwmpt to put up a better display...

Bring it on I say! Senior service my a**e! Fiji is in the commonwealth - Why don't the navy broaden their recruiting strategy?
Are all Man U players born in Manchester? In England? In the UK even?
Do we have French, Kiwi's, Aussies playing rugby in this country?
All the Army rugby squad are serving members - deal with it!

Actually the term 'senior service' was given to the Navy by an Army general who noticed that the particular battle they were involved in couldnt have been won without the Navy....FACT

and the original inter-services rugby tournament was kept ONLY to British forces not including the commonwealth!!!

I love the banter........ oh and why would you want the senior service near your arse anyway????
