some of you might remember me putting a thread up last year about young DS. well since then i havent really been looking for any DS work, but recently i went out looking and managed to get some work, working for Resolve Sec.<br />
 I started last weekend, i done fri sat and sun, and all 3 nights where at different venues, worked at Oceana in Southampton, Life in Andover and Bar Rock in Basingstoke.<br />
all went fine, bar sunday night, being a bank holiday they wanted extra DS, they expected at least 300 people to turn up, no more then 70 turned up, so we closed early.</div>

whats envolved in process serving is it as simple as he says <br />
 <br />
1 pick up a letter/parcel<br />
2 jump in his car drive to the address<br />
3 give it to the person named on the envelope<br />
4 get a signature <br />
 <br />
5 down to starbucks or costa for a brew. <br />

Principle Accountabilities <br />

Job Description<ul><li>Undertake duties iaw verbal and written instructions.</li>
<li>Visit defaulters at the addresses stated on warrants to obtain payment, execute warrants, make enquiries to trace the whereabouts of absconders or seize goods to the value of the warrant for sale at auction</li>
<li>Bring into account monies received and control a manual receipt book and other documents</li>
<li>Return warrants where enforcement is not possible using appropriate codes and correct methods such as PDA or hard copy</li>
<li>Maintain a log of actions taken, warrants executed or returned and payments received</li>
<li>Ensure all seizure notices are kept in a secure place and available on request</li>
<li>Comply with reasonable audit requests.</li>
<li>Provide and maintain detailed incident reports.</li>
<li>Carry out other tasks reqd in connection with the service, execution or return of warrants (e.g. obtaining and reporting information regarding the defaulter and/or the actions taken in executing a warrant).</li>
<li>Undertake any training reqd for the role including H&amp;S, conflict management and information security.</li>

ROLE: <br />
You will manage and oversee the activities of the South and Vale CCTV System efficiently and effectively in accordance with Council`s systems and procedures. <br />
<br />
To provide overall operations and monitoring of CCTV systems as part of the councils commitment to community safety and to maintain and further develop linkages with external agencies in relation to CCTV matters. To forward plan all aspects of staffing, maintenance and CCTV related enquiries. <br />
<br />
The post holder will be expected to work flexible hours on a 24 hour day 365 days per year shift pattern including weekends and bank holidays as required, and the successful applicant will be subject to a vetting procedure by Thames Valley Police <br />
<br />
RESPONSIBILITIES: <br />
a) Administration of all staffing matters for the control room, including the preparation of the monthly shift rota and ensuring sufficient coverage during periods of sickness and annual leave. <br />
b) Ensure the accurate recording of all events and actions monitored from within the control room. <br />
c) Ensuring that the management information system is up to date and to provide monthly statistics. <br />
<br />
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: <br />
a) Experience of supervising staff <br />
b) Good interpersonal skills <br />
c) Working knowledge of IT (basic Microsoft Word and Excel) <br />
d) Security Industry authority (SIA) CCTV Operators Licence or will be required to have passed the appropriate CCTV operators course within three months of being appointed <br />

You may have experience in the following roles: CCTV Supervisor, CCTV Agent, Security Officer, Security Agent, Security Guard etc <br />

Job description: This role is focused upon the Protection within an international bank, of its board and other high risk personnel. This includes their personal protection, their international/domestic travel arrangements, protection of their external events, protection of their homes and where necessary the protection of their families.<br />
<br />
You will ensure the protection of the board members and other HRP by advance risk assessment of any principles travel destinations, meetings and events (globally and, source, advise and recommend required security recourses including transportation, accommodation and executive protection. You will prepare detailed executive protection security plans/risk assessments and ensure that the planes are executed accordingly and to the appropriate Group Security Standard.<br />
<br />
Duties<ul><li>Where necessary carry out executive protection duties.</li>
<li>Access the risk of Industrial Espionage against the board members at any meetings and conduct Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) where and when necessary.</li>
<li>Ensure that the Executive chauffer drivers are adequately trained and qualified in advanced and evasive driving, anti hijack and counter surveillance skills.</li>
<li>Manage the security arrangements for any external events involving board or EXCO members.</li>
<li>Protection of homes</li>
<li>Conduct security surveys of residences and recommend, persuade and influence the choices of equipment to be installed thereby ensuring the highest levels of protection.</li>
<li>Project manage the installation and ongoing maintenance and service contracts of Intruder alarms, CCTV access control and other security equipment and furniture installed in principles homes. Recommend any ongoing improvements to the protection.</li>
<li>Threat/Risk analysis</li>
<li>Conduct and keep an ongoing threat and risk analysis of all Board members and other high risk personnel.</li>
</ul><br />
Technical skills / competences<ul><li>Proven ability in the field of personal protective security at management level</li>
<li>Working knowledge of residence physical security protection</li>
<li>Strong ability and skills to interact and communicate efficiently with very senior management, business clients, colleagues and external parties</li>
<li>High resilience through periods of extreme and prolonged working environments and change</li>
<li>Proactive, good and sound decision making capabilities at times of high work pressure</li>
<li>Ability and credibility to work with law enforcement and other specialist agencies</li>
<li>High level of written and oral communication skills</li>
<li>Good organizational skills and ability and presence to be the expert and present a case</li>

Candidate profile:	 Essential knowledge and expertise<ul><li>Deep experience in Executive Protection and proven experience in implementing security solutions. Have attended and completed an accredited and recognized executive protection training course and holds a SIA license in Executive Protection or Police/Military equivalent</li>
<li>Experience of working outside of the United Kingdom and in diverse locations, with the ability to work with agencies from different cultures</li>
<li>Have a recognized First Aid qualification</li>
<li>Physical security survey experience and knowledge of Intruder detection, CCTV, access control systems and other physical security equipment and furniture</li>
<li>Experience in managing the security arrangements for large events</li>
