Anna,

Now that im getting on a bit i should maybe think about a pension plan? Im in my early 30's and recently just got married so prior to this all i done was throw my money away on beer and dodgy balkan women LOL.

I will be getting an army half pension at 55 or 60? but im not sure what else a) the govt will offer me when im older and b)what age?

I know i should know this but instead of asking random people i thought i would ask the expert.

CM

No, the other North! is on a distinguished road
I put 11% per month of my salary, which is an awfully high amount, into a pension scheme over the past thirty years. If I had put it into houses, or even flats, at the very outset, then the rent today would make my looming pension look like pocket-money for frittering away on Balkan toms. I cannot evidence this, it's just an opinion, and I don't know how much these ladies charge either.

See what the sums come out at of your projections for the next 25 years salary, rising at roughly 1.5% per annum to be on the safe side. Prepare for the government to shaft every pension-holder it can, the world is going to change but you will be in control.

[Obviously, not houses in Banja Luka (ain't you lot got homes to go to?!).]
