Ok people, I was sat watching the BBC news this morning and I saw this little story.

Quite laughable but on the other hand you can almost see the birth of another corrupt, crooked and vile agency that will generate revenue and generally ruin that particular industry in the name of well ummmmm I dont know really?

I know that I am opening myself up for a major kicking here but try to think of the bigger picture.

targetting another 'CASH' industry,
its the tax man, not setting standards, just collecting the ol tax dollar.
Will it improve hairdressing, I doubt it.
Will it, it raise the standards and prices.
Will we lose the old girl hairdressers, who do 10/ 12 customers at best in their homes, the blue rinse brigade for £10-£15 a go.
Who will be the losers, not the small hairdresser they'll go on the dole and not spend that extra money in the shops.
It will be the hard pressed for cash, pride robbed grannies, just trying feel good about themselves.
Not the immigarants, they'll get free hairdressing in quiet, custom made areas in keeping with their made up religions and traditions.

Time to do a pilgrim fathers on it and bugger off to a new land, I think.
Maybe there's somewhere just over the horizon that we can call our own,
or lets just have a civil war, uummmmm.

This sort of crap does my head in, as Fwog and others have intimated, it's nothing to do with providing a better service but all about stiffing us. If there was ever a body that needed regulating it's the cheating, thieving scum sitting in Parliament. Hopefully, come June 2010 we will be rid of them.

Just to point out the obvious, there is a rank and file change in politics . All the MP's who were caught, instead of bowing out gracefully, they are 'standing down' at the next election,ensuring the big fat pension remains intact.
Now, 2009 has been a funny year, we lose 50% of parliamentarians, the Lisbon treaty has been stuffed through the vote,the banking system has also had a rank and file over haul in the same year............

like OJ, says, its going tits-up and they havnt told us yet, last one the leave the UK, please turn the lights off.
