I am a tutor with Greymans and invite people to look at our present website aswell as our future redesigned website. We use trainers with excellent experience and i have personally trained almost 200 commercial CP operatives this year over 10 courses for 2 different companies.

The CP course is 18 days straight, the accommodation is 3 star, with individual en-suite rooms. Better standard than a Travelodge room. The classrooms are the best I have ever used in the military/police and commercial sector. The cars are executive vehicles including Mercedes and BMWs. You will know the relevent parts of London by the end of the course.

We also run CP Refresher Courses, FAAW Courses, Surveillance Courses aswell as other Courses which are documented on the website.

The cost of the CP refresher course is £525 inclusive of VAT excluding accommodation. The duration of the course is 3 days.

You will cover

Roles/Responsibilies
Law and Legislation
Surveillance Awareness
Foot and Vehicle Drills
Ied Awareness and Hostile Environment Input
RST-House/Hotel and Office
Threat and Risk Assessments
SAP and Route Planning

You will have to deliver a 10 minute presentation on an example of our choice relating to a CP incident, whether successful or not, ideally on powerpoint but it can be done on a flip chart/Whiteboard

I aim that any training undertaken by Greymans cannot be surpassed by any other training company. This comes from my knowledge gained within various specialist operations departments within the Met Police, including 3 years covert policing/surveillance and 8 years CO19/SO19. The knowledge gained from 3 years hostile environment operations and the time spent training numerous commercial CP operators this year (with some excellent feedback) enables me to give you the best course on the market. When not tutoring I have been employed on ops which alot of tutors are not doing in the training circuit. I even know of a Director of Training for a well known CP training company that has hardly any, and I mean minimal CP experience.

We are just off junction 12 of the M4, and our offices are opposite Theale Railway Station, courses run Wednesday to Friday.

Hello CO19 i am currently looking for employment on the Close Protection Circuit i have just recently left the Rmp and successfully completed a full Close Protection course, work seems to of dried up at present, you wouldn't be able to advise me on any companies recruiting at present would you?

Having, personally, not been on any Greymans course I can only form an opinion based on their product........Absolutely first rate guys.
