Sorry if this has been posted but can anyone shed light on this arsehole of a dog owner and report him to the proper authorities or just "have a very serious word"

You should have to apply for a licence for a dog these days, No job and no money to care for it = REFUSED Previous history of mistreatment or lack of contro = REFUSED

Definitely the bloody dog should be put down, and the man fined.
If you don't trust in your dog don't take it in public places.
What if hat was a child?, or the owner of the Labrador?
Feel sorry for the Labrador who was just a innocent victim of a useless attack.
Everybody know that the dogs are borrowing from the temperament of the owner.
That happened with the humans as well.
Sad...

I am not quite sure that it should only be the dog that is put down.

It takes a long time to train a guide dog. All that training is now ruined as the Labrador will now have a fear of other dogs making it unsafe to guide someone. All because of of another useless waste of oxygen.

Pit bull type dogs have become a fashion accessory for numpties with no balls and half a brain.

mpctc does pit bull type dogs mean all bull terriers or just pit bulls the reason i ask is i own a staffy and common to popular belief i'm not a chav or numptie and was walking on a lead my puppy when a labrador rushed out from it's garden and savaged my puppy requiring quite alot of time at the vets and money i had to spend getting my dog well again, and low and behold two months later poor lenny still only six months old attacked again and baldly bitten around the neck again by a lab. now i have owned dogs for years know what wonderful pets labs are but now at one and a half my staff fcuking hates labs , the last dogs owner was informed that if his dog was out again off it's lead and attacked my pet the same result will fall upon this person is it the dog or the owner.

The owner clearly did a great deal to stop the ongoing attack but did absolutely nothing to prevent the attack. The owner should be charge in two counts of animal cruelty one for the attack of course but also for kicking the shit out of his own dog. The dog was only doing what it was taught was it not. I know many people with Pit Bulls and they are very tame and loving animals but that is what they were taught though.

Why the hell have all these cameras? Why are they now looking for him? They could not find him then? Or were they to busy at the time cutting and editing to post it on youtube?

Pit bulls are a breed (staffy's are not pit bulls but still popular with the underclass) Pit bulls are banned by the dangerous dog act.

I get it, but, while I sympathise, I fail to see what this has to do with the thread. Also FYI your dog does not know the difference between dog breeds. "Breeds" of dogs is a human invention, to a dog another dog is just a dog.

firstly for wingnut yes i do know staffy's are not pitbulls they do not look the same or have the same name different breeds i never said they were and for mpctc your are absoutley right dogs as far as i know work on smells given and recieved but alastians do not seem to bother him or any other larger dogs but he seems to have a problem with labs , maybe it's me i don't know i'm not a dog whisperer. what it has to do with the thread is you stated pit bull types , types to me means plural ,what? terrier types that is why i piped up about my dog, staffy's have a bad name i think for all the wrong reasons but not the underclass more chavy bellends. if you didn't mean all terrier types then i got the wrong end of the stick . be lucky

All Bull Terrier variants have a bad image nowadays, this is due to mongs using them to try and be a hard man. Not the dogs fault, I love staffies and English Bull terriers especially, a friend of mine has an EBT and she is fantastic with people and kids. Until the authorities can get a grip of the "Status dog" situation these breeds, and others, will never get a fair deal. I say rehabillitate the dog and put down the owner.
