Hi, I am considering leaving the armed forces to pursue a career in CP. I understand one of the first steps will be to obtain a sia license. Will the fact that I was issued a conditional caution by the police (assault) 2 years ago affect this? Not just the SIA application but CP employment in general.
Thanks alot. Paul |

It may do but the last I heard was that these types of cases are looked at on an individual basis before being rejected you could call the sia or look at their website but remember if you apply and send your fee and they refuse you they will not refund your fee so check with them first |
