I would like to advertise a product and target it specifically to RN/RAF/RAMC Medics. Can anyone suggest the best way of doing this and the best media that will reach these types of people?

Many thanks

Is it just the services mentioned above you are targeting ? just a suggestion but you could try either the Soldier Mag or Combat and Survival magazine for advertising...

You can get both on Google

Hi ukparamedic

I am assuming you have a product that would of interest to medics. Therefore, if this is the case please first protect your position by seeking professional advice, assuming your product could be protected from a patent. The next step and again difficult without knowing what it is you are selling is to enter into a licence deal with a manufacturing company or major supplier. They foot the cost of manufacturing and by selecting the right company they would already have the marketing/resources and contacts to sell the product because you would only select a company that was a major player in the industry. You would receive a payment every time a product is sold without the headache or huge risk.

For god sake get the right advice before you start and start sooner rather than later.

Regards

JHD

You could be on to a hard one here. Getting MoD personnel to buy their own kit, unless something really special or essential, can be extremely difficult or a non-starter.

As has already been written, go for the publications they all read - Soldier Magazine, Navy News, RAF News. The next step would be the generic 'military' or 'combat' magazines (You could also try Nuts and Zoo or other such publications ).

Good luck..

Never do anything that you wouldn't want to explain to the paramedics.

Before you send me a visitor message or PM - I do not accept or pass on CV's or Resumes, I don't know of any work outside of vacancies I post in the forum, and I will not pass on details of my contacts. Thank you for reading this message.

Why not start with forums.

CPW, Arrse, e:goat etc.

There's a surprising amount of mil types watch this forum, so put your advert here first and see how it goes. I'm sure the owners would approve for a small donation.

OK Paramedic...If I may offer you some advice for what it is worth..?

We have a saying in business:

People do not buy 'Products' they buy 'benefits'...

I have discussed this on here before so it is not worth going into it all once again.

The only thing I would suggest is that you get yourself into a position whereby, you can 'Influence'..?

That means matey a lot of research, a lot of ground work and finding the people who in turn, can influence...

I trust that this makes sense but if it doesn't then there is someone here who has posted above who may be able to assist you with the basics...

Army CMTs and RMAs, RAF MAs are more active medics as they move up the food chain, the ones that dont go the med admin route, think tho they mostley have this area covered, with SRP training
Navy MAs as they go up the ranks are Admin based, preffering to put their feet up, letting the sprog MAs do the leg work, practice manager types, med stores etc, aim more for the green side, Royal Marines, who have bootnecks and green lid matelots MAs. Tho again, Poole MAs also have this covered with SRP training like the army, not talking sickbay ones, and they rotate more between units.

Good luck
