version of events ? We read that US Private investigator, Joe Moura (who speaks fluent Portugese) spent 15 days investigating the McCanns. Moura discovered that the routine of the McCanns and their friends was always the same. “They all had dinner at the same time every night... they all left their children in apartments - unsupervised and alone. This was a pattern that went on for five days.” Moura found inconsistencies in the McCanns’ account of events, that the McCanns were the first couple to arrive at dinner the night their daughter went missing, arriving at 8:40 p.m. instead of the usual 8:30. The McCanns also claimed that they could see the corner apartment where they were staying from the restaurant, but Moura said a large wall covered with a hedge blocks the view. The parents claim they checked on their children every half-hour - the girl was discovered missing at 10 p.m. - but Moura said witnesses told him only one person - the tallest man of the group and not her parents - got up from the table

very sad that their neglect caused them to lose their child..its pointless speculating, let the police sort it out .

Of course there inconsistencies - They are hiding something. Not necessarily that they had something sinister, but I'm sure they ARE fibbing about the times the kids were checked on through fear of getting into trouble and that is leading to other people thinking that they are covering something major up.
