I am not the POC

Remote Medic course that runs from the 01 February to 26 February 2009 in Copenhagen, Denmark. that we are offering for only EUR 1000.- (Normal price EUR 4700.-). This is because of a cancellation.

The price includes accommodation and a week of clinical attachment.

The course also includes ACLS, PALS from AHA, and ITLS from TTLSA as well as registration with Australasian Registry Emergency Medical Technicians as Remote Medical Technician. For information visit our web site at www.ppa-int.com


These are some of the things that you will learn in the remote medic course and will be examined in:


Human anatomy, physiology and pathology
Treatment of hyperthermia;
Airway maintenance, artificial ventilation;
Intravenous infusions;
Endotracheal intubation;
Communicable (including sexually transmitted) diseases and infectious conditions;
Common eye conditions;
Common ear conditions;
Common skin conditions;
Common dental conditions;
Hyperbaric environment;
Individual clinical instruction as required;
Emergency medical services;
Communications;
Remote occupational hazards and their prevention;
Remote hygiene requirements;
Psychiatric conditions;
Standing orders and disaster plans;
Use and administration of drugs;
Stores and equipment;
• Statutory requirements;
Keeping of detailed records;
Use of ECG;
Basic Life Support (BLS);
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS);
Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS);
Immediate Trauma Life Support (ITLS);

That looks really good, Am I seeing things??...that's a 3 week course for about £900 including accommodation ??...surely thats a bargain deal !!.

I can confirm it is 100% to fill the last place, so there are enough guys to train etc.
