We are holding additional training dates for the above course in June.
dates are 23rd & 24th June.

HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT AND Psd TRAUMA COURSE.

BASIC ONE DAY

This course is aimed at Close Protection personnel operating in hostile conditions, away from conventional medical facilities.
The course has being formulated with input from close protection personnel who have had first hand experience of serving in areas such as Iraq and Afghanistan.
Their knowledge of the risks that currently face Psd staff was invaluable, and along with our staff we feel that this course is a wise investment for anybody operating in similar areas.

The course covers:

• Introduction to ballistics and related injuries

• Rapid casualty assessment

• Airway management inc fitting on OP & NP airways

• Hemorrhage control

• First response to trauma of head, chest, Abdomen and extremities

Price £95.00

A second day is available to further advance the basic one day package where the following subjects are covered

• Blast trauma inc landmine injuries

• Intravenous therapy

• Burns inc phosphorus

• Use of tourniquets. C.A.T and M.A.T

Price £95.00

Price for two days together (to run concurrently) £180.00

All training materials,course literature,light refreshments and lunch, certificate of attendance is include in the cost of the course.

Sounds good to me Kev & I fancy doing the basic training.

Therefore all I was wondering is will the course take place in Yorkshire lad?

It most certainly will mate. You can fall out of bed at 08.50 and rock up to the venue for 9.

Where's it going to be then- in Killamarsh??? As if its in the city centre then I need to be arranging a jet to get me across into town in 10 mins!

Hi Guys,
Just an update on the June course.
Robin Barratt from the British Bodyguard Association and editor of THE Circuit magazine will be attending both days of the course.
Robin has extensive experience in both the Close Protection and security fields. He is a published author with several books to his name.
A great chance to network with a guy whos being there and bought the T shirt.
