Does anyone know how much the Ronin CP course costs?
A colleague is looking into the course, and likes the look of the CTG and Ronin courses but cant get an answer on the cost of Ronin one, as he has no default Outlook email (apparenly the link on their site requires one) and has not had an answer/reply from phone message. Said I'd ask....cheers. Last edited by rupert; 02-10-2008 at 09:05 PM. |

The course was previously appx £4.6k, that included flights to cape town, food and accom. I spoke to Timm Smith (Ronin SA CEO) recently and he told me that they would be changing the pricing of the course so that people payed for the course fees but bought their own flights.
I think this was done as they felt that maybe folks could save some money by booking their own flights, as obvioulsy Ronin didn't have the time to search for the cheapest flight options for every student attending. I'm unsure of the cost of the course now, so rather than spreading half truths and speculation I would advise you to drop them an email and they'll send you out the most up to date info, with out the hard sell. Email Mark : mark.mckinney@ronin.co.za Hope that helps, Regards, Paul. |

The Ronin SA have a good reputation and include aspects of the course trainers are restricted from including, if delivering in the UK, i.e. firearms and their medic experience for trainees is second to none as it is live time on the ground. It use to run for 6weeks (not sure of the duration any more) although to graduate from their course you do have to pass all sections including the firearms, which we in the UK, do not need to gain an sia license. If this has changed forgive my ignorance, I have not tracked the C&G approved centres for a while. And I believe they did provide experience with tasers.......so it is a different experience, plus the benefit of training in an environment some won't have experienced. And the cost is including accommodation, travel and training.
Keep smiling though....... |
