SALARY: £3,500 - £4,000 per month (depending on experience)

LOCATION: Midlands/ Doncaster (with UK travel)

G4S Risk Management Solutions seek a Risk and Security Manager to support a client with risk mitigation for rail routes in the Midlands area. The Individual should be capable of operating at all levels within an organisation and should be comfortable communicating with and influencing stakeholders and senior management, across the spectrum of security and risk management. He must be able to influence and interact comfortably with members of the business community and Police.

This is a challenging project in a dynamic and evolving environment providing an excellent opportunity for future development.

Key deliverables will include, but not be limited to:

• Delivery of operational risk management advice, including management of route risk profiling for rail routes.
• Design, authoring and management of security and risk management policy and associated operational framework and strategies. Development of amitigation strategy and implementation of mitigation measures in consultationwith internal and external stakeholders.
• Provision of physical security consultancy expertise.
• Establishing and growing relationships to support activity on identified rail routes.
• Control and operational management of tactical Surveillance teams.
• Gatheringand analysis of intelligence.
• Production and oversight of core recommendations to improve route security and integrity.

Applicants should be ex Military Officers or SNCOs and have experience in similar roles.
This is a nationwide role for 6-months with potential for extension:

• Candidates should be available to commence work from 11 August 2008.

• Candidates should ideally be based in the Midlands or close to Doncaster.

• Must possess a valid UK driving licence.

• Applicants should be aware that if selected they will be required to undertake a CRB Check, Medical Assessment and Drugs and Alcohol screening.
