Disabled People and Biometrics

I apologise as I am not sure where to put this post.

What happens if you are disabled in some way: blind and have no hands? Biometrics will be useless in these situations.

I take it your talking about the security personnel being blind or missing a limb... surely if you are blind you shouldnt be doing security full stop, thats just asking for trouble...
Someone I have worked with has a asthetic arm... I guess your body adjusts...
He seems to do just fine.

I was thinking about how would a disabled person be able to use biometric identification to identify themselves. Some companys have already put fingerprint and iris scanners into use. I wonder what their diability policy would be in that kind of situation.

Maybe carry a DNA ID card with them...I am sure they would make exceptions for disabled patrons.

But an intresting idea on the biometrics topic...... although i am sure someone thought of that.... or maybe not! After all the great sia neglected to think of a good many scenarios...... and they actually let people from liverpool answer the phones aswell!! (It's ok i can take the scouse hate mail)
